That's what I was thinking too. Gear ratio would be 3.42 at the highest numerical ratio, probably 3.23. I also figured the 3.23 would put less strain on the axle. Still not 100% decided, but I'm pretty close now. I'm never opposed to changing my mind if I get new information that shows what I previously thought was incorrect. The car would never see slicks, and I'm thinking probably 70 series tires. I really don't foresee any problems, as long as everything is upgraded to the stronger components. Will definitely be using 28 spline axles and Eaton true track differential--again for maintenance free operation for many years, since it has no clutches to wear out.
