This is on the drivers side inner fender on my 64 Wildcat. Any idea where I can get a another? The coil of wire on the inside is broken at both ends where it connects. I am open to bypassing or other tricks.
    Thanks

Ive seen you, but I cant hear you LOL. Just did the same thing on my '64 special. Good time to install a main line bus fuse too. I have yet to do that, but its in the plans. Forget about finding a NOS one. Unobtanium. One big red wire is the battery supply, and the other goes to the fuse block. Theres no main line fuse. All the lights are powered through the headlamp switch which has a "thermo limiter" on it. It'll cut out on overload, then auto re-set after a 5 minute (approx) cool down. You dont need that 1/0 cable to it.

    Hi,

They do show up on evilbay usually expensive, last one I saw was 125, also this was used on 65-66 Gran Sports and Oldsmobile Cutlass, there is a replacement that doesn't look correct but works.

    Regards,

I may have one of those on the shelf...I'll post a photo

  11. Ames performance has brand new versions of those. They go in a 64 Pontiac and they cost around $50

Just checked. The one I have is slightly different. Would likely work, but not exact match.
