I have a 64 skylark in very good shape.. I don't want to modify the dash/instrument cluster and I don't want to add aftermarket gauges, but would like to monitor engine temp and oil pressure. I came stumbled across 'EngineStat' (enginestat.com). It looks like an interesting solution. Has anyone else looked at it or used it? It will display and monitor various things on a smartphone or display..

@John Griffin did you ever buy these? I have looked at buying their pro kit. Like you, I don't want the gauges under the dash. I have looked at one other option but it gets terrible reviews.

When I bought my ‘64 Skylark the previous owner had installed mini oil pressure and water temperature gauges in the ash tray. When the ash tray was flipped to the closed position they were completely hidden.

Nice -- I installed dual USB ports in my ashtray so that trick won't work for me...
