My son has a 69 GS 350. It has some oddities like the door panels, the GS emblem on the door panels, and a dome light. I thought all 68 / 69 GS's came with sail panel interior lights, except maybe a California GS. I looked for the door panel emblems in Year One and another vendor but did not find them. Any opinions? Thanks
I believe that is a 69 GS with a standard interior. Standard interior cars have a dome light and a different design on the seats and door panels. They also use short armrests with no chrome trim in them. Everyone is just too used to seeing the cars with the deluxe/custom interiors. Duane
There’s a ‘69 Skylark in ‘leads’ that appears to have the same ‘standard’ interior (except the door emblem). 400 cars got the deluxe interior automatically, on GS350s it was an option. Patrick
Thanks Duane and Patrick!!! So he's got the cheapie GS 350. I agree with your view that everybody is used to seeing the deluxe interior. That makes sense to me. Have a great weekend guys!!!
