Does any body know if the 300 or 350 balancer will work on a 215? I know they use the 300 crank (with some changes to the rear) to stroke the 215 so I'm guessing the snout on the crank must be the same? Finding it hard to find a stock one & really would rather not have to pay nearly $400 for one from Summit .
I just looked at the TA catalog. The stock balancer fits the 300-340-350. No listing on the 215 except the 538.00 SFI internal balance one.
Mike, i have two 215 balancers that i believe are NOS. I believe one is a '61 style and the other is a '62 style. I'm not an expert on these engines and i don't know why the '61 and '62 were different. Let me know if you still need one and i can post some pics. I'd want $50 each plus shipping if they are as nice as i remember.
