So I'm out in the garage under the Riv giving it a real good going over as a guy was supposed to come and look at it tomorrow, but has postponed till next week (we shall see), but figured I might as well just get it totally ready to go to a new owner anyway. Wouldn't you know it, every single flashlight battery is dead. So I go and buy some real batteries to put in the freebie hb flashlights (buy a set of $1.99 wire brushes or picks, get a flashlight). Found the variety of China brands they come with pretty funny...... by the way, the new freebie lights that aren't the old LEDs are pretty dang impressive.
And How!! Put those 4 batteries on your 1lb "postal" digital scale and then weigh 4 US made batteries. Probably 4X the weight.
HF batteries that come in flashlights are usually carbon zinc, vs. alkaline. Alkaline weighs more and performs much better.
And in the bathroom at the store... chinalatex? WITH instructions no doubt... So the chinaman goes Wun Fun Tung drug store and asks for4 a box of condiments. The druggist says "That'll be 4.95 plus tax." "TAX??? I thought they roll on..."
