Okay, went out yesterday, car (1960 Lesabre 364/2bbl) started up fine, runs great. Using the old am radio, radio stops working, also kaput, out go the turn signals, brake lights, wipers. Headlights, taillights, dome light, parking lights working fine. What happened, any ideas?

    Check your fuses?

Radio, turn signals and wipers are probably on the same fuse, I'm thinking.

Checked the fuses, (that's why I thought maybe a fusible link somewhere ), radio was a 7.5 amp looked good changed it anyway. Also upon further inspection, no heater either. I'm hoping it's something simple, but you know how that goes.....finally got a decent weekend coming up and I won't be cruising this one.....

SOLVED! Okay, to be sure it's been in the 90's here, too hot to crawl around and contort under and in the vehicle. Gary got it into the shop and lo and behold the plug and retainer on the back of the ignition switch had the backing screw come loose and the ignition plug coming of the harness had worked totally loose and finally came unplugged completely. Screw reattached and an extra one added for security and she's a running again! Yee-Haw!
