Has anyone used the H and R rear sway bar for the A bodies. East to install? Does it help your 60' times? thanks
I turned my buddy onto one last year,Car is a 72 Chevelle,BBC, T-400,10.5x29.5 slicks,3500lbs,Etc. Car runs 10.40's w/ low to mid 1.4 60fts. It made his car nicer to drive,More consistent,And took out the "twist" I helped him on the install and that was easy too.....Pretty much a rare product that does everything advertised :TU:
My car too. It was all over the place and now its just a drive in the park. It made my car so easy to drive I let the wife smash the loud pedal once !!!!
It sure looked alot "cooler" before but the car was taking a beaten, was always all over the track and it wasn't fun on the street. Now its more consistant and a pleasure to drive.
Paul Ferry and HR Parts are great! They are proud sponsors of our Northeast GS/GN events at Englishtown and the upcoming Cecil event.
Th HR bar is one of the best bolt on pieces I have ever done to my car, Paul Ferry's engineering and workmanship is second to none! I highly recomend his products. Bruce
I bought one for my Sportwagon and the car isn't even ready to drive yet! The instructions are great and the quality is top notch. As usual I make things more complicated then they need to be and when I ordered the Ferd 9" rear to go in the wagon, I opted for the drain plug on the bottom of the housing. Care to guess where the drain plug is? Yep! Right where the bar goes! ou: A little slice and dice (on the rear end) should fix everything, but if you plan to run a Ferd rear and The HR bar, have the drain plug installed where it won't interfere with the bar, or simply drill and tap the housing for a pipe thread plug.
I have purchase his rear end kit with sway bar. We is a good man to work with. Bruce Hunter is the one that helped convince me,as he had been running them over a year, with no trouble. I had a good long talk with Paul at BG and ordered them there.Very nice man, with quality equipment. Mike Nussell
