Nope. I believe it is a 70 Saturn yellow with factory mismatched stripes.

Thanks Paul. The one I recalled seeing was in driver + condition. Can't remember where on the web I seen it.

I see that now. I think without seeing it in person, I'd try to fix that damage and keep the stripes up original, at least initially. The rear bumper is trashed too - looks like it got towed once with a old school Holmes 440 sling and it crushed the bumper. Still, the trunk floor looks super solid and overall appears to not be too molested of a car.

As you noted, fan shroud is a high dollar piece these days. Correct carb, not so much, plus a decent bumper, and...

You're saying he couldn't verify one way or the other if the engine is original? Not as critical as if it were a Stage 1 car, but still, a decent hit on value if not.

Probably not the most desireable GSX configuration, but it is a GSX & if I had the $ I'd have to fly out and go look @ it.

50k is a good deal on this car if additional documentation surfaces. Too bad it’s not a Stage car but it is one of 678.

IF I had 50k, I'd definitely be interested. A 70 GSX Saturn Yellow is the only realistic car I'd ever trade my Mach 1 for. This one looks like a guy could drop $8k in body and paint, tidy up the interior, chassis, and engine compartment, and have a beautiful not concourse restored car he could be more than proud of and blow people's minds at most shows. Plus drive and not worry too much about. It'd most likely be a money ahead ordeal if he had the money to spend on purchase and "resto" initially. But I don't :(

Not I. It was the one I was interested in . Believe it was a 1 owner car until 2009 bought by a professor in Oklahoma.
