    Mark,

    Do tell!!!

I truly hope you plan to document the restoration of that car here on the board....speaking of documentation, what did you come up with?? More importantly, where and how???

Inquiring Buick minds want to know.... :Brow:

It makes me wonder what my 71 Stratomist Blue Stage 1 auto GSX will be worth when it's done next year.

PS. Mark has documentation from Joe Rosen, regarding his Motion GSX.

something doesnt seem right here. this QQ X sells for over 25K and the 10/10 X on e-bay is barely over 30k. compare the shape these two are in. why isnt the white one bringing more interest?

    John,

Watch that auction in it's final minutes.....there will be PLENTY of interest once the heavy hitters start HAMMERING it late...

NADA Guide shows a 1970 GSX Stage1 with A/C worth 74K in excellent condition. They strongly state this does not mean #1 or Concourse condition. This is a restored car that can be driven is what I get from it. Even if it took 50-60K to restore it looks like you could get your money out of it. Now that is scary.

    WOW ! ! !

WOW..what a steal ...I can plant it in the back of my yard for a year and some of the dreamers around here can buy it after selling theres for $110k and restore his one for under $80k ...should be worth $200k by than! :Brow:

    Hey Eric -

I agree with Herb above - DRIVE IT AND ENJOY IT! These cars are fun to look at, but they're a BLAST to drive :beer

Just make sure you have a good agreed value insurance policy :Smarty:

In 1985, I paid $6500 for my 70 GSX . At that time,
Old Car Price Guide showed a NO. 1 70 GSX was valued at $6500. My car is very nice, but not like the cars being restored today and not a "1".

If you check out the white one again, the guy is now threatening to raise the reserve based on what the yellow sold for.Tsk, tsk... seems the guy should keep his reserve and let the market bare it out.

    No need to panic....

That thing will certainly bring the coin, if he waists his time trying to raise the reserve, it will only turn bidders off, and he will not get anymore for it. :Smarty:

It will probably double with ease with the last few ticks of the clock. As a seller, I think it is best not to bother to look at the auction until the last day. I've decided setting reserves on ebay is not worth it!!! If you are not satisfied with the bidding, just cancel the auction on the last day. :bglasses:

But I've haven't had to do that, because everything I've ever put on there sells higher than I ever expected. :TU:

Too much monkey business is definitely bad for the bidding!
He should just back off and watch...too soon to start counting your money.

I can see a last second 50k bid in his future. :bglasses:

Chris, Buick hasn't gotten that bad ...yet. Ford Mustang stuff is real crazy! $6500 an NOS 67 Shelby steering wheel :eek2: . A '68 and a half CJ ram air cleaner $2700. So we are still ok for now. Corvette stuff is a little wacky too.

I think it is quite possible that someone already has a nice GSX clone and wants only the tags and title...WDYT?
