Can I wire my GSX's hood tack up to an MSD Probillet ready to run distributor with out ruining my wiring harness? It appears I need the grey wire from the distributor, a switched hot wire for the tach light and a ground wire. Help please????

    Thanks Jim

Why do you need any wire for the tach light? Doesn't your hood tach light up on it's own. Unhook the signal wire from the negative side of the coil and hook it to the gray wire. Ground the black wire.

Larry, Thanks for the reply. I am battling most of the lights on the front of the car and the dash lights. I have power coming out of the fusible link and it is hot to the light switch. I currently have interior courtesy lights, glove box and turn signals. I do not have any dash lights, tach light, side marker lights, parking lights or headlights. I will try the grey wire on the MSD to the negative side coil wire in the morning and see if it shows RPMs any thoughts on the other light issue? I have also installed a temporary ground wire from the negative battery cable to the right front fender to insure I have a good ground.

    Thanks Jim
