I filled out my GS Nationals entry form and sent it in, but there's nothing on there for the heads up classes. What's the procedure for entering? Is there an additional entry fee?

While I'm here I might as well ask ... does the track sell fuel during the Nats? If so, what brand?

    Thanks.
    Have fun.

Jeff from my experience you put your car in the class you want to race after you register . You pay for a race ticket and anything extra as far as classes you do at the tower . Yes they sell race gas there . I cannot remember the name brand .

Jeff, they will round up the GSE guys to meet during the week to discus racing and get a head count, I believe the fuel at the track is Sunoco brand 110 octane. Other fuel grades are also available from Scotty's performance center, located on Scottsville rd. it will become easy to find once your there.

Hi Jeff, glad to see you are coming to compete this year in the GSE class at the GS Nationals. As Bruce said the GSE guys will be rounded up during the week. Plus I will be pitted with the Michigan Chapter (back by the woods) as well as my new Pit $%^&%(Pit Bobb) for any Pre race questions, bench racing etc. We will be there from Monday night on.
Any questions up until then can be answered by both of us via e-mail, private message or right here on the board.

    See you in BG.

I've tried & I've tried to teach Bobb how to do a burnout, but......he just won't listen! One time, I got him to do a burnout, he's got a picture hanging on the race shop wall to prove it! :Smarty:

    Thanks guys. I think?

Wow! We went from entry procedures to Bobb's burnout abilities. How quickly things go awry!

As far as where to pit. Any suggestions? I don't want to end up in the middle of the "Northwest Canadian Sportwagon Restorer's Group" or something like that. :boring:

Oh, and hey Bobb, we've been testing all winter down here, too. I just haven't had much time to get to the track. :bglasses:

    See ya there.

Jeff, when do you planning on arriving? Pitting with us would be great. That way Bobb will have more to do if I cant keep him busy. :TU:
I just got word that Steve Steele, the winner of the last two years GS National's GSE class will be there to defend his title. There will be a car there that hasn't attended in a few years that is one of the most consistent best running cars in the class. There are several others that will be joining the class and have already raced the class that have confirmed. Plus the guys all the way from California will be there, It is always an honor to race with them. This year looks to have a really big field.

    Jeff,

That's great news. I'll be hanging on the fence for sure when you guys are running. Any thought of doing another T-shirt, I've pretty much wore out the last one. See ya in Norwalk.

I'm driving up on Tuesday (all day!). I'll be at the track first thing Wednesday morning, unless I can somehow get in to park Tuesday night.

The only other time I was there, Bobb was pitted back along the trees. Should I look over there somewhere?

Sounds like a "heavy" field this year. I'll try and keep up!

    Have fun.

Jeff, Bobb always pits with the rest of the Michigan crew back where you saw him before, has been "our spot" since the early 90's.

Shayne, I still have a bunch of the old shirts that we did not sell. If Jeff and Bobb are ok with it, look me up. They will be free to anyone who wants one. Not sure what sizes are left. Gary

Thought I might try this here. I am looking to buy a used SFI 3.2A/5 rated jacket and pants, extra large in size. Let me know if any of you guys know of anybody that might have it. Thanks
