GS emblem

    I have a 72 GS clone and would like to know if the door panels had a GS emblem. I have the custom panels with the chrome and pleated uppers. Poston lists the emblems but I don't know what they look like or where they are mounted. Thanks. Ken

    '72 GS's did not get interior door emblems. However, a lot of guys have installed the '71 emblems on their cars.

    did the 72 gs convertibles have the gs pin on the door panels ?
    my 72 gs ht, with deluxe panels does have the gs pin and the panels are original. this was talked about in earlier threads many moons ago. back when these cars were built, anything could have happened during production/assembly. my car ia an early production for 1972.

    gerry, I think If I remmember correctly the convertable stuff moved over from 71. I think that is what I remmember.

    Though I think most GS's & convertibles did get them. :TU: If you want a set, I have extra pair, $15 to your door. Send me an email or PM if interested.
