Yeah you cut all the muscles in your arm, my wife works in the er at the local hospital as a NP.....she says if you can still wiggle you fingers your extremely luck to not cut any tendons.
Wow! Guess that shows the 'power' in power tools. How many of us have had a drill bit get stuck and the drill motor spin around damned near breaking your arm?

Big ouch again. Stitches without novocaine hurts a lot too. I guess you got a lock jaw shot too. Let us know how you are doing. Probably hurts like heck today.
OMG!! Briz I read about your past and don't think I ever said "Kudos" so again "Kudos" but, if it come's to some pain relief to this God awful injury do not be a hero and take what ever the Doc's recommend.
Heck ya! I got a tetnes shot in the arm cause I couldnt remember exactly how long it had been. Shoot they should know as Im sort of a frequent flier there then I got a big ole shot of some antibiotc stuff in my ass and that **** hurt worse than the cut. Nurse was back there forever and Im like common! pull the thing out of my butt. **** hurts! LOL John. Was the first thing Curtis said too. Guess I just got a early start this year and maybe out of the way. Yep everything wiggles and moves like it should I can do the Vulcan hand shake the peace sign, thumbs up and OK! No major tingling or numbness. So Today Im sore but not so bad as to not go to work. Ran half dozen service calls, Changed out a few fan motors ect. as long as I pay attn to how in using the hand I can manage. Changed the dressing last night and it looks pretty good. On a really surprising note I get a call from the first hospital. My ER bill was 1800.00 Thats not the Dr. or xrays ect. Lady says if Im not insured I get 65% off the top and if I pay within 30 days an additional 20% So that knocks it down to around 400.00. Also said I qualify for some low income asst. I dont know how but I'll take it if they're offering.
Its getting better. Still sore. No sign of infection. Waiting on the Dr's bills to start rolling in. Working like nothings happened. So glad it was my Left arm instead of the right.
It happened real fast you probably barly felt it. I use milwake fuel cordless drills drivers. Too late now to give advice on technique. Just maby burry that grinder deeper in the tool box so you think of other idears first. Did the grinder get stuck in your arm? It looks like your arm stopped the grinder.
My friend does chassis work,..and a corded dealt with a damn 8in disc with no guard is weapon of choice,..he can cut a damn near perfect circle with it,. Scares the hell outta me
Me too... I think we should all remember to be careful with all our gear. I'm sure @Briz didn't expect a dinko screw to be the cause...
