I bought a set of two quarter panel patch panels for my Skylark but only needed one after all. I think I paid about $250 each for them, will sell for $100 plus shipping from Wenatchee WA. This is about 3/4 of the whole quarter panel, never been used just been sitting in the shop since I bought it. THIS IS A PASSENGER REAR SIDE ONLY.

    Please PM me

Hey Sean, Do you think you could cut the panel into quarters so that it would be cheaper to ship?:) JK I will have to pass on the panel if it gets to me as my painter would rather fix the panel on the car.

I have a deal with Porter, just need to get the panel to him.

The same thing here with my car, the old panel turned out great!

Almost ready to leave the line off the trans brake with my boosted little 350 revved to 4000 RPM off the line....

I must say Mark did a good job. I am definitely jealous, I hope mine turns out that good. FYI I have a turbo kit plus all the electronics to hit my 12.80 1/4 mile N/A GS with 12 lbs of boost. And I traded my 71 nova to get it and another car painted. The skymaro weighs 4200 and ran mid 11's with a terrible 60'. Since the GS only weighs 3500 and will have great 60' thanks to a 2 step i'm think low 10's is in my future.:Brow:

Sean.. What rear tires are those (again)???

These are 285/70/15 tires.... They are not made anymore but they are about 30.6" tall, 12" wide, 10.5" tread width. I was able to pick up this set of beadlock wheels with tires used for $400, but these wheels have slicks the same size. These wheel are made by Champion but they match my wheels so it is perfect! I might paint the red black as they look a bit too flashy. The tall tires will keep my RPM decent on the highway with the 3.42 gear it works out so the RPM are the same as the 2.73 gear was with the stock tires.

One change I have made to the game plan is I am using an auto shift switch pitch TH-400 with a 3200 high stall and a 1800 low stall with the flip of a switch.

I still have the TH-400 with a reverse manual valvebody, trans brake and built for 1000 HP however not sure if I will need it if the switch pitch trans holds up.

I have 13 good running Buick 350s waiting if needed and I am sure the Moser 12 bolt willl be reliable as they said it was safe to 1100 HP so I should be able to keep the car on the road without buying many parts...

I have decided to use the forged internal Buick 350 right off the bat though and see what it can really do... The heads I am using ran 11.04 in the quarter NA with high compression so it should do well under boost.... Some spare sets of ported heads on standby here as well... A Megasquirt computer will data log everything so I can tune the carb and dist with some real data to work from.

It is all really exciting to get this thing together!

I would post pics of the custom turbo kit but I want to wait till it is 100% complete.... It looks really good. Mark has learned a lot over the years with these kits and after making his custom headers and learning what makes them hard to bolt up and work around things have really come a long ways! My kit is much better than the log manifold design but still very simple and well thought out. Is my kit a 100% max effort design, no.... But niether is my car, it is just a 355 inch street car with a mild gear, mild cam, etc.
