Got my -65 skylark

    Thanks guys,I have always felt in here that it feels like coming home.
    That nobody judges you and someone is always trying to help you.
    May I present me,I am almost 40 years (i cant believe that)old man.living in eastern side of Finland,city name Hanko.
    With 3kids and wife,and I work as an refrigerator technician.car I found from.Graigslist but before that I was trying to buy 65gs in forum gs65 without any luck.parts I bought from here from:
    Les modrov. Toymobile and major advice from Wheels so many thanks to them.plans for the car is 1:make hear running again
    2:restore hear, while cruising hear.
    3:if it is matching numbers car then bring heer back to original chape.
    He's from Reno Arizona but i found some old registration papers from Santee CA.
    Seems to be dry and minimal rust(52 years old car). Interior is almost vanished and paint is sunburnt but it seems to that everything Is there.

    Dear Kai and V-8 Buick fans of the 1965 vintage Buick,

    If it makes you feel any better, you are a young man compared to me! Sounds like your life is going well. Between your work and family it would seem like you have plenty to do! So what sparked your interest in Buicks and 1965 Buicks in particular?

    Sorry to hear that you couldn't find a 1965 Buick GS, but if you were monitoring the 65GS.com forum, you must know how difficult it is to find these cars. There are some really rare "barn finds," but the bulk of the ones still for sale are in really tough shape.

    So you are planning to keep the original 300 cid engine and transmission? Could you post some pictures so we could assess the condition of the car? We might be able to give you some additional advice. Unfortunately, there isn't as much support for the older Buick models, so trying to keep this car original will be something of a challenge.
