Got Ink?

    docgsx It's not a GTX

I’m sure lots of board members are inked and most inking comes with a story...

I don’t have any “buick” related ink yet but, I had an old piece on my foot that had “past life” negative memories attached to it and 3rd degree burn damage. I got this cover work done recently and have plans to add to it.

All of my ink is because I’ve had some serious tragedy in my life, and those memories will never leave me. Rather than keep those memories in my head where they can do the most damage, I moved them to my arms where they’re still a part of me, but kept away from me at the same time.

I have sleeves. Traditional American and traditional Japanese. No cool stories to tell other than my grandfather had them growing up which really got me interested at an early age. I love tattoo history and am inspired by early artists like Sailor Jerry, Ed Hardy, Cap Coleman etc..

I've got a few, all hidden unless I want them out. This is my biggest piece. Just about a full day in one sitting. lucas-720x960.jpg

I get a kick out of looking at creative tattoos, but no ink for me. Ever since I talked with a forensic pathologist who told me that he could tell that a deceased person had a tattoo just by examining his/her liver, I decided that I would pass. I have been bad enough to my body over the years...

Tattoos aren't nearly as hard on my liver than all the alcohol I throw at it..

1526927260906101994393.jpg All I got is scars and memories. And injuries, still have my cane I used in my 20's from a fall I took off a cliff hiking in the mountains, it was a good 60 feet or 4/5 stories.

My latest acquisition, my wife calls it lumpy and rubs it from time to time. I got that even an Engine flipped on a stand and my instinct kicked in because she was close to it so I put my hands out, took a chunk out of me, srubed it out with my fingernail brush and put the remaining flaps over it, looking back I should of cut the loose skin off and let it grow back from the inside so I wouldent have it lumpy. People look at it sometime lol.

Just don't gain weight or the Mustang will have flat tires. Get my age and it will look like it has dents.

Hahaha....That was about 8 years ago, I was not in nearly as good of shape then as I am now, oddly enough. I broke my back when I was 25 and kind of just let myself go. When I turned 30 I started trying to take better care of myself. Still has the Cragars on it in the pic we used, which will always be what I remember it with mostly. We joked it was going to either turn into a funny car or a Pinto. Luckily it's stayed the same, even though my overhangs have shrunk.

Been in the chair 9 times, though you can’t see any unless I’m in casual wear. A decent polo covers a half sleeve on my right arm.
