33 years with a major autmotive company provided me with my retirement pay check.
Today I wear many hats to add a bit of spending money and spice to my life.

Spring thru fall I keep honey bees. I really enjoy this job and wish it paid better.

72 frame extractor full of honey frames. once full of frames I set it and forget it.

Use a solar melter to melt capping wax. Make 3 pound blocks of wax and sell it.

President of Family business-started in 1857 as Flour & Feed. Lots of changes over the years! My job has been making a Joint Venture with
another milling company to build the United States most modern flour mill of 2015 now making over 10,000 cwt/day 7 days a week.
Already need more capacity. My partners manage the milling operations- I'm in charge of my mix plants.
This is the "old mill" now a mix plant with 3 lines. Been here since 1960.

Also we built a flour mix plant next to the mill -
Making chicken breading for the restaurants of our land.
I'm very lucky to have a father that is still around to appreciate the growth :)
Happy birthday to my mom 9/11...rip

21 years selling real estate, great living but you work all the time and I really hated it that last five years or so.
    then
Worked as a service plumber for two years, buddy let me work mon, wed and friday.
Covid-19 hammered work in the area so I took five months off until cabin fever got too much to take.
    now
I am working for another buddy remodeling houses which I have a lot of experience from flipping houses.
If I work all week - Great.
If I am off all week - Great again. :)

I attempt to get roughly 100-140 cars (all those pictured are here for work) through our shop every day with 24 techs and 5 service writers, so I'm also an adult babysitter.

    Design and build custom machines.
Bee hive parts look familiar. Cant tell if they are Walter T Kelly or Mannlake. Built both of their end bar, top bar and spray wax applicators.
40 parts a minute for the end bars.
Pic is of conveyors we build for under a vacuum pick and place for door manufacturers.

Currently in training to become a mechanical watch repairman. It's unfortunately all self-taught since most of the instructors died when the quartz watch displaced the old mechanical movements. This is my retirement project; - right now I play with good quality American pocket watches but have done Swiss wristwatches and old English Verge-fusees from the 1700s.
