I know I can get it with a razor blade but some places are hard to get too. Any trick to getting that old cork off? Soak it? Special tool?
They do sell gasket remover sprays, https://www.macsautoparts.com/early...V1MDICh1vowp4EAQYAiABEgIS2fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds That and a razor blade on the head side. Make sure you get it all out of the head as it can clog the return holes if you don't. For the valve covers, I like a drill with a round wire wheel, especially for RTV.
A razor blade in a holder seems to work well then you can put some pressure on it. Acetone is probably strong enough to cut the glues you just have to watch with some plastic parts or the paint as acetone can take paint off.
We use the air powered wizzers in our shop for that type of thing. They work great and you can get a variety of different fittings for them. A wire wheel, sanding discs and other things. Keith
