The ST300 in my ‘65 Special is leaky and slips when it gets hot. Works great when cool and on short drives, but I like long drives with no stress! Does anyone out there know of a good shop in NJ or eastern PA that could do a fix or a rebuild? Any referrals would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, Just a suggestion, maybe upgrade to a th350 or even a 200r4/higher rearend gears as the st300 has a very low first gear 1.76 vs 2.52/2.74 I believe and either newer trans would make a nicer out of the hole driving experience Regards,
