Bob, I searched and there's not one to be had! I believe they stopped putting them back up because they were always being hiested. Someone probably has a small collection of them, but to find that person may be impossible! I'll keep trying, but short of "fabbing" one up for you, you may be out of luck! Steve
I believe they stopped putting them back up because they were always being hiested. damnit man, that means i can't get my own. :ball: bust the county or whoever is responsible for signage about this, would you? i think they're missing out on a great revenue opportunity.
Good luck tomorrow Annie.I know you'll do just fine with the surgery,it's the healing part that sucks like hell. You got lots of support here so yell if there is anything we can do for you.Hang tough !!!:beer :moonu: :bla: :TU:
Oh Shari, you mentioned pool boy, there's a story there from BG about 4years ago, when 3 of our best Michigan GS boys, stayed in the same room at the Fairfield Inn, and we called them every morning for Raoul, the pool boy and got a different one every day, what fun! Annie wasn't around for that, we'll have do have a redo, someday! :3gears: :spank:
Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery Wishing you all the best! Hope you are able to travel again by August, there is tent water yet to be spilled!! (Our Lady of Perpetual Spectation/Pixels) P
Home! Got 'released' this afternoon. Everything went well, technically, and I am not in a ton of pain (perhaps I have just become accustomed?) I am on a 5 LB weight restriction with this arm. Seriously?????? Geez, my jeans weigh 5 lbs!!! Not really sure how all the pool/stable/yard/cabana boy stuff will work out. Right now, the grass is so high that I can barely see the truck. My local support (the older couple down the road who adopted me) are gone on vacation until next week. Oh well. Worst part was they gave me a nerve block beforehand. Supposedly to limit the amount of anesthesia and keep the pain away. That did work - but I freaked as they were administering the nerve block, while I was completely awake, and the guy was threading stuff into my neck and detailing the procedure to the intern in training. :ball: Then we went into the O/R. My entire right side is completely numb. They put the mask on me and I immediately can't breathe, talk, etc. :eek2: I freak again. Then it all goes black. That was all pretty harrowing. Otherwise, it went well. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. They really helped!! :TU:
I'm still keeping them coming for a quick and complete recovery. And a stable boy.... :Brow: Take care, Shari
but I freaked as they were administering the nerve block ... I freak again. well damn. if i had known it was going to interfere with the operation i wouldn't have yelled "Androgynous". and i should have posted this pre-op:
Not really sure about your androgynous comment......... Thanks for the kitten....but I have enough animals here now. 2 dogs, 2 horses and a mule on it's way (yes, an actual long-eared mule). And I'll bet there may be some barn kittens up in the hayloft if I went looking for them. But I won't...... I also have a set of twin fawns running about and a rooster pheasant who believes he owns the place. It's a regular menagerie around here.....but none of these ungrateful animals will mow the lawn!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not really sure about your androgynous comment....... garsh, i hope they didn't get some of your brain cells. i'm quoting you.... http://www.v8buick.com/showpost.php?p=965652&postcount=82 Thanks for the kitten....but I have enough animals here now. nonsense. noone can resist teh kittay:
garsh, i hope they didn't get some of your brain cells. i'm quoting you.... ou: Now you want me to be responsible for the things that come OUT of my mouth!! One way discretion is difficult enough. Remember, right now I only have one hand to place over my mouth as a block..... ANDROGYNOUS peeps aren't allowed to be lumberjacks. nonsense. noone can resist teh kittay Ok, send the dang thing. But when I have to SHOOT IT OUT OF A TREE after the dog trees it, I don't want to hear no :ball: :ball: :ball: actually the reason for all the freaking is due to the fact that if they kill me......I haven't gotten my will in order.........and I keep procrastinating it. I want to make sure you get custody of all the aminals, Bob. :TU:
ANDROGYNOUS peeps aren't allowed to be lumberjacks. but transvestites are just fine? i'll let Truzi know.... Remember, right now I only have one hand to place over my mouth as a block..... hold that pose, i'll be right up.... I haven't gotten my will in order.........and I keep procrastinating it. i get it ... they're not allowed to kill you because you don't yet have your 'affairs' in order. elegant logic, that. :idea2: I want to make sure you get custody of all the aminals, Bob. i like aminals. they're mighty tasty bar-b-qued over some mesquite. after the dog trees it never fear, i send you a badass kittay, he take care of himself:
Glad you're oky-doky Annie. :TU: They were gonna sedate you for the 'block? when I went in a few years ago for the block, 1: I was totaly awake. 2: The "doctor" tried to insist that I watch the procedure on TV ou: 3: ONLY the general anathesia (sp?) (local injection)numbed my back. That is until that 8 in needle hit my spinal nerve. :ball: Boy I would've jumped through the ceiling if I thought that needle wouldn't break! 3 hours later it all came back. Never again :TU: "I am on a 5 LB weight restriction with this arm. Seriously?????? Geez, my jeans weigh 5 lbs!!!" Then now my dear is the Puuuurfect time to go "anatural":TU: You may get you a stable boy yet:shock:
