Car sees 0 street time, currently is 4 wheel manual drum, never been a problem at our current times and speeds 10.90s about 120 mph. Not sure what the et and speed will be with new top end but am going to add stopping power over the winter.

Will still be manual brakes, needs to clear 15 inch wheels, front and rear disc, not looking to spend 2500+in brakes but for sure not an area I want to cheap out either. Car is 3800 pounds car and driver. Rear us 8.5 with factory style bolt in axles.
Not limited to only bolt on, can weld brackets and fab parts if needed

    Looking for ideas.

    Ben,
About 18 years ago,I did the same thing to one of my cars, before I put the big motor in. Stopping was one of my main concerns, and my car was also 4-wheel drum. I retained the factory rear drums. Up front,I used Hotchkis tubular uppers,78-96 B-body spindles,88-92 Camaro 1LE 12" rotors, factory style single-piston calipers, the special lower ball joint, and 73-77 A-body outer tire rods. The car has nice stability and stops great.
If you have a 64-70,you would use a Camaro/G-body outer tie rod. The 71-72 uses a 73-77 outer tie rod.
The "special" lower ball joint is a B-body lower joint, machined to fit the A-body lower A-arm.
