Has anyone heard from Gary lately?, had been following his low buck builds and was waiting to see some results of his latest buildup from the donated parts. I know he was planning on slowly tunning this engine to the point of death. just courious as I have not seen any recent posts on this buid up, and how is the engine for his Uncles? car doing. I have an interest in following his plan and methods to achieve his performance goals, measure twice , cut once! Bruce
Prolly made 1200 hp with a 125 shot and pulled a camper with it on Power Tour. Funny guy. Would ask everyone for advice then tell them what dumbasses they were. I wonder if he ever got his Riv runnin? I know he was lookin "for big things to come forward out that monster!"

and don't forget badmouth us ... as they do on many of those facebook deals.. I just could not take it anymore.. the fact is that when he first signed up, several years ago, he started right out by throwing hand grenades about some gun topic, as I recall.. I immediately put him on the ignore list. Not sure what prompted me to take him off the ignore list, that was a mistake. While I don't mind someone with a different opinion, my tolerance for those whose intent is to disrupt the board, and badmouth the members, is limited. Those of you on the facebook groups can inform us if he builds his 750 HP iron motor.. :laugh: JW
I read the Facebook groups for fun... There are some characters out there. They HATE V8buick. I'm glad they do, this place would be horrible with them trolling around.
As if I needed one more reason to shun facebook.... Ive actually grown quite fond of the ignore list functionality here recently. It keeps me from getting into pi**ing matches I need not stray into as admittedly sometimes my big mouth gets me in trouble. As far as he goes, I'm not gonna bash the guy (frankly, I probably shouldnt even be posting in this thread. Stupid big mouth!). I wish him the best in his quest to build whatever it was he was endlessly droning about and hope he does in fact make some innovative discovery in the world of Buick engine building. However, Ive seen many like him in this world that fall into one of two categories: "Talkers" and "Do-ers". Im not much of a gambler, but if I was a betting man I'd be willing to put money on what category he falls in. Hopefully he proves me wrong (keyword: proves), but.....
