Getting ready to install 12 bolt

If I put car in reverse and back up slowly will the brake shoes self adjust? Need a response. Thanks

 

I don’t wanna have a disaster and car not stop.

 

Got a Helliwig 1” rear sway black powder coat Gonna paint it gunmetal . Then install

 

Then I will go out look for Mopars

 

I always manually adjust for a smooth slip fit, then they will self adjust from there

 

Ok found this in my tool box

 

Hugger what if I back up and it does not self adjust

 

Right now gauge is telling me it’s pretty tight here is where the adj. are set

 

Brian not liking the fit of the u joint fasteners this is what was on the 10 bolt

 

Is this better??? U bolts not the yoke. Will this work??

 

If the adjusters are on the correct side it will self adjust

 

I fell like there is no threads in that flat yoke

 

Should I use the looong u bolt instead of the flat hump fastener

 

Or do I just need fatter bolts. This sucks

The u bolt was only used on the 8.2's originally, if there are threads in the hole then no it will use the straps and bolts
