Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh HELL YES!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing that Sir. Boy,do I luv a cackle cackle!!!!!!!!
Anyone remember Tony D writing for Cars Illustrated in the late 80's? He wrote great articles on the TR and Scotty G's street racer Electra. Great to see he still appreciates Buick and the history that cars like Ingenue offer.
Please post if that will ever be running 5 hrs or less (lil more too!)from North Carolina or a PM (Beggin ya!!!) what a great story from friends passing a lead to Buick brothers to a Father n Son story! Very moving(like almost 200mph MOVING!) VERY NICE........
We will have the Ingenue at New England Nationals at Epping NH in 2 weeks then a few New England events during the summer. Indy for the Nationals. Cecil county Buick Event in September. Gallot in North Carolina mid October then the final east coast appearance at the GS Nationals end of October. Check out the link for the final Cacklefest at https://dragracer.tv We had an awesome time even ran it with the body down, that was Great......
Galot Motorsports Park is Nancy Wilson’s deal which was moved from downtown Henderson,NC...she is such a sweetheart and has been so kind to me... I just had to support her event. I am told this facility is perhaps one of the finest 1/8 mile tracks in the Nation...so we’re really looking forward to attending. I have great videos of the car running, just trying to figure out how to post them from the road...
It was really cool working with Uncle Tony...a genuine down to earth guy, lots of loyal followers...I appreciate his interest and am just glad it ended up here with our family.
I have the end tower suite at Galot for this event. Nancy has the other one. Join us there if you can. A local racer named Earl Wells spent 10 million on a complete renovation of Galot Motorsports Park. http://www.galotmotorsportspark.com/home.htm . At the old location, Henderson, we consistently drew 3000 classic cars for this event. Galot is a much better host venue.
Just soooo cool! Did anyone else hear he paid $1100? Scotty Guadagno still builds engines out of Tampa now. He built the shortblock in my Mustang 5 years ago. He held the NHRA notrous record and now races outlaw street. Him and his dad moved from Brooklyn to Tampa. Mikey
Tony told me he had the opportunity to purchase Ingenue but couldn’t pull the trigger...as for me,let’s just say I paid significantly more than that, lol!
Well it's gorgeous and thank you for your time sir. I would love to see it run. I live in Gainesville FL so it you ever get around here I will come watch. Mikey
