Well was wondering what your one only pick one funky car you would like to own. Here is mine 1973 Mercury grand Marquis 2 door. One day I'll get one. I know it's nothing fancy but still.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Big old late 60s/early 70s GM/Ford/Chrysler wagon. Prefer 9 passenger with disc brakes. A driver, not a show car. Wife's would be a Bullet Nose Studebaker.

I have a friend who's up in years now who is the original owner of a '76 Grand Marquis coupe, two tone blue with blue leather, and about 70k on it. It's a beautiful car; he was working for Ford in Atlanta when he ordered it. In a similar vein, a college friend drove a '78 Continental that he paid $800 for; triple gold with ratty leather and Playboy door locks. I love yachts, would love another Cadillac-'71-72 Coupe DeVille tops the list. Oh, and a Mirage--they're so cool.

Would love a 1970-73Vista Cruiser, and the other end of the spectrum a 1957-62 Nash Metropolitan

I'd take a Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada. Does that qualify as funky?

IMG_1817.jpg I have always had a week spot for ANY Hurst cars. Grand Prix,H/O's etc but as for a ya never see model I have always liked that is a monster road yacht, with a honkin Thermoquad with a hood scoop no less is the 1970 Hurst 300 car.
The one pictured would be even better with the drop top & optional trunk mounted blonde!

Oh, yeah, I agree with the above, and I love big muscle cars. Sport Fury S23 or GT? Marauder X100? Cyclone Spoiler with a SCJ? Odd ones, too--Ranchero with the SCJ and woodgrain? GMC Sprint SP?

1973 AMC Javelin, it was the first car I really got down in dirty with as a jr in High School in auto tech. We got it cleaned out, safe, and running for a gym teachers daughter (never met her). It was textbook auto 101 on how to bring a car back to life with a factory service manual and will never forget that first test drive.

Does a Caballero count? If not a '61 Super 88. That back end is killer.

My choice(s) would be either a 64 Wildcat 4 door hardtop with factory bucket seats and 4 speed, or the sole 67 Ford Country Squire wagon factory built with a 428 engine, buckets and console and 4 speed. Had the opportunity to buy it last year, but my bank account said NO!

There is one more funky, full sized Ford Galaxie 2 door post car available with a factory 427/410 HP and Toploader 4 speed. It's also a verified one of one car.

The "funky" car that would be cool to own is a AMC Pacer, can't get any funkier than that!! Would be even cooler if there was one with a factory installed 401 in it as well!

If not that one I wouldn't mind having an AMC Gremlin I do believe that there was a year that they did install a 401 in it from the factory!

But that Pacer SO ugly back in the day is kinda cool now, took 40 years for that fish bowl with wheels it to grow on me but I finally am thinking it looks cool.:D

I do think the Mercury marauder is cool

I can still hear those glasspacks

Not a funky car - a beauty; and all 1919 Buicks came with wooden wheels for free.
I would like a good (probably a poor choice of words) Reliant Robin, which I suppose technically can be called a motorcycle.

In high school I tried to track a solid one down at a decent price because I wanted to build a "Mirthmobile" replica from Waynes World.

Someday it will be mine....oh yes, it will be mine..... :D:cool:
