Functional Portholes on '61 Special

    I'm putting a 455 in my 1961 Buick Special Wagon. There's no room to go down with headers, so I'm making functional portholes.

    Theres just no room to drop the exhaust down,and I wanted the 455 in it.:Do No:

    On the bright side, you should be able to drive with your rear window open and not suck in exhaust fumes. Not sure about the side windows though!

    Looks cool - show us pictures when it's done!

    You could finish off like a cord. That is just way cool :beers2: but you have know your a bit NUTS (in a good way!)

  18. have you test-fitted spark plug wires? looks like a tight fit!

    I'd love to see video of it revving at night. I'm guessing that above 5K we'll have flame tails.
