you will have to change the fuel pump.BBB is way different then SBB.With the BBB,you have a choice of regular fuel pump.or S-I fuel pump. The fuel line for the regular fuel pump might be usable, not for the S-I,as you will need one that's longer, the S-I fuel pump is taller,so...Bruno.

If you want to use steel lines, yes, you'll need to change the fuel line. You can make a braided line with adapters at each end.

I think Rob is asking whether a stock 350 powered car was built with a smaller fuel line than a 455 powered car? He's wonder if he needs to install a larger line to the tank when he swaps in the 455. I would assume that if the car has a 3/8 line he's fine?

If the 350 car had AC you have the exact same lines as a 455 car. 3/8" feed and 1/4" return. A 350 non AC car does not have a return line and the feed might be 5/16. Haven't seen a non AC car for a while. Check the classic tube catalog and see what they list. 3/8 line is good to over 500 hp.

Steve @UNDERDOG350 that makes sense. Obviously if there is no return it sounds like he has work to do. @Rob72GS if you need to run new lines I used nicop material from Amazon. It's rust proof and super easy to work with. You can get a 25 ft roll of 3/8 and 1/4 plus some stainless gravel guard.

Those are sweet @BrianTrick but I would not look forward to installing those with the body on the frame...

I have installed these on cars before, but yes,you need to lift the body up some.

My 70 GS350 has ac. Came with feed and return.
The feed line appeared to be 2 pieces factory.
A rubber hose halfway up at the frame gusset.
Appeared oem and we have the car since 88.
I have since replaced it from corrosion w braided.
And a rob mc filter where the rubber union was.

    I believe that is correct. I opted for the one-piece 69 style,and I also bought a return line,whether I use it or not. It’s a GS455 non-AC,but isn’t stock.

I’m not 100% sure which way I am going with that particular car,so I installed it while the body was off. I might not use it at all,but at least it is there if needed.
