Frustration is mounting!!!

    I've been trying to find the correct part number in the GM Parts Catalog for the trunk latch. Anyone know what teh number is and what page(s) it referenced on?

    My copy if date April, 1983

    There is an online parts book at www.65gs.com ,look in the 'Electronic Garage section. 1971 version.

    I believe this is it.... Page 712, Group 12.242
    Lock, trunk lid 64-72 all manual

    Thanks Walt. Thats the info exactly as I hoped it would be. Sometimes I get lost in the old GM manual. It doesn't help that I was calling the part by a different name that the GM Engineering staff.
