I think you've hit on something there, Larry. Those rotors do look strange and the wheel does look like it's mounted too far away from the rotor. That could be it.

Looks like stock/original rotors to me. Notice the big groove in the wear surface? Only the stock ones had that.
Ofcourse they could be orginal GM rotors, but for another GM car. :Do No:

Yes, that is what I meant. I just went out and stuck a ruler in the slots of my Buick factory Rallye wheel. I was able to measure the distance from the rotor surface to the mounting surface of the wheel. It was approximately 2 1/4". It will be interesting to see what Brian measures.

I will be measuring it the 1st thing when I get home tonight!!! I'll let you know what I find out!! Hopefully it is just the rotor since I wanted to replace those anyways!!!

Measured when I got home and I have 2 1/4 as well from the rotor surface to the back of mounting of the rim. Larry, I noticed your car looks like it sits higher, but I don't think that is going to solve this. You are also running a 15x7 rim/tire while I am running a 17x8 on the front(don't know if that makes any difference). Is there a measurement from side to side of the opening possibly?? I am grasping for straws because I don't think shocks/springs are going to help.

Let me know if you can come up with anything else!!

I need you to take a picture like the second one I took in post 39. Lay on your back and take a picture of the top of the tire and center of the wheel well. It just looks like the outer edge of your tire is too far out, but it might be an illusion.

Is your body centered on the chassis? Measure from the sidewall to the fender lips (front and rear) and let us know
