Fresh BBB. Leak while running at front cover seal. Used TA1514 seal which is different then the past. This one has a lip that stops the seal making it sit towards the engine more (stock front cover). This the only one they can get now. After looking at another balancer and talking with TA it is believed the seal is riding on the edge of the knurling of the balance not the smooth finished area.

Fix, found a balancer sleeve the right dimensions. Nice part, good quality, cost reasonable, just or $30. No more leak. TA will be informed about this part to see if they want to start using/stocking it.

This stuff is great and can be used universal. I fixed a leak at the front seal of my rear axle using one of These sleeves.

Used many and never had a failure. Beats dropping the crankshaft, dontcha think??? Sometimes a bit of sealant UNDER the sleeve helps the install and prevents leakage from going around the sleeve. Depends on the APP. ws
