I used a tach that came in the free-standing "pod" used in a Riv or earlier Skylark? You're right, it didn't go right into the consolette, but with a dremel (not a drill) I was able to grind notches into the edge of the lens and tach housing so it would fit. Came out great and you'd never know.

SkylarkRoost- Here is the bezel. It is difficult to photograph, but I think it's in very good condition.

    Mark,

Was that what you were looking for? Is that the same as the reverse lock-out?? If so, I do have all of that still attached to the shifter...

Who makes the hump on post #3? One of my cars is going to need a new floor and the hump is pretty much toast, altho it looks VERY similar to that. All the others I have seen look nothing like that.

Here's a pic of an original one from a 67 car with console. And a shot of the part # of the hump.

Sorry, not much left of it in the first picture. Gotta love Iowa winters.....

Hey Guy's I need some help. I bought a 4 speed setup going into my 72. It's a sept 69 M-21 with 69 linkage but no reverse set up, so I just got one from Mike G & it hit's :Do No: So according to the pic's on this thread I need the 3 rod's for 71-72. Does anybody need my 69 rod's for a swap to my year? Or does some one have a used set for my year? Thank's

I recommend that you guys find a friend to weld the rod-attachment subassembly around the margins where it meets the pedal. The two spot welds from the factory are a joke. I've killed two of these over the years.

Hey guy's I still need the 69 back drive stuff or??????????? I've tried every combo with Mike's part's & they just won't work. He said at the Nat's that he's never had this problem before. Anybody use his part's on a 69? Thank's--Lee:beers2:
