I have a perfect block that has never been touched since disassembly. I used the crank from this engine with only a polish. Pair of heads. Disassembled. One is nicely ported. The other I will never get to. They were cleaned up nicely at one point but now have some surface rust.. I don't want to toss this stuff, but don't want to spend alot of effort on it either
WB 422 is the only thing I can find on deck of the block. I'm sure there is a VIN but I didn't try to clean it up that much.. My 72s all had a year cast where the beelhousing is. But nothing here. So I don't know the year. This was in very nice shape when I raped it for the crank.. It is a bare block. I have a set of capscrew rods. Pan. Pair of heads that have never been cleaned or disassembled. Maybe some other stuff laying around too..
Hi Jay, It sounds like you have all 8 rods - are they in good shape? Would they be good candidates for reconditioning? Also, what would shipping be to 46526 for all 8? Thanks! Eric
Yeah.. Take a look at the rods. They are listed on ebay.. Make me a reasonable offer.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131007707237?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_44wt_995
