Dang, built at Fairfax Plant, sold at Dave Cross and still within 25 miles of where it was born...…….If it was about $6-7k I'ld own it tomorrow.

If it was that cheap it would have been sold yesterday, tomorrow would be too late.

It is a nice car, but I think the asking price is a little steep. $6 - 7k would be outright robbery IMHO.

I think that estimate is in the right ballpark.

Nice car. I'd check the trunk for christmas presents or reindeer crap because that had to be Santa's old wildcat. If you run a title check I bet it was bought by Kris Kringle from Northpole Buick! looks like the elfs kept it up nice. Lol

Anouther 70 with no front bumper emblem, jeeesh. Somebody should reproduce them.

I was told there is a repro available, but it's hard plastic, expensive and doesn't really look all that good.

I remember when we had both of our 70’s in the early 1980’s,and both were missing back then. I do remember having at least one of them stores with our parts. Just never put it back on,or maybe we couldn’t.

A set of Buick Rally wheels would look sweet on that cat!

Is it just me or do any of you think the red is too bright for 1970?

The white interior and top, combined with the bright sunlight, gives one that impression. If the contrasting colors were black and the sky gray, my guess is you'd have a different take. But since you have every color Buick ever made in that collection of yours, you of all people should know :D

If it had power windows and bucket seats, it would be much more appealing IMHO> I do like like the 'caps and ww tires. Great looking cat!

Did they ever put bucket seats in a 70 Cat? Any pictures?

The price is a bit on the high end, but the colour combination is what makes it worth a look. So it has an E4B and an Edelbrock on the 455; yeah...ok. If it's got the stage 1 heads and cam, alright, now we're talking. On a stock Wildcat 455 it's ok. The bucket seat interior is very rare and only available in black.
It's nice to see these things climbing in value; a few years ago a Buick owner wouldn't have even tried to ask for anything over $10K on one of these; so this is good. It'd be interesting to see if it sells.

That would be so cool, buckets and a console in the RED beauty, that would bring the price in the current asking price for me.

Very cool. Same seats as an A-body. Is the console the same?

IIRC it is at least a little wider at it's base because of the hump. Maybe somebody knows for sure? Hmm, just thought of something, maybe the '73 and up console is the same, as I believe it is wider at it's base...

Over the years I've seen bucket seat cars for sale from time to time, mostly in hardtops.
