Megadeath and Metallica can be excellent AFTER Neil sets the mood. Just make sure to pick a something that you can bang you head to AND something that has a "bumpy" rhythym to it AFTER you listen Neil.

"There's more than one type of screwdriver????" :Dou:

Can't catch a Buick woman until you get that ring off your finger!!! :eek2:

I can handle some Neil to set the Mood, no problem. I can also handle some Megadeath and Metallica for sure. I'm into the Classic Rock stuff myself and allot of the new stuff too .... Pink Floyd, Santana, Styx, Kiss, Queen, Boston, Robert Plant, Pearl Jam, Hoobastank, 3 Doors Down just to name a few. No way can I do Country or Conway Twitty though, sorry.

Hmmm, a dating Check List Resume, why didn't I think of that :Dou: It could work.

Summers here in Ohio are short and I really don't drive my GS as near as much as I would like to. It made it out 3 times last year and one of those Blasts was with a young lady on a nice August night and a Full Bottle of NOS.. It was a little Humid out and a really nice night with all 4 windows down but she complained that she was hot and her hair was getting messed up and I had to put the windows up and turn on the A/C :Do No: Whats up with that :3gears:

I have found that the Cruiser up on Lake Erie and trips to Put In Bay or at The Flats makes for much more memorable trips for most Ladies around here ....

That started out sounding really romantic to me......young lady, nice August night, FULL BOTTLE OF NOS, a little humidity to aid the big hair look, all the windows down, gettin' on it :3gears:, hit the NOS to add a little more excitement to the romance :3gears: , and then WHAMMY, "My hair is getting all messed up!"

Dang, that girl just ruined my fantasy! :af: You didn't keep her around after that, did you? :Dou:

Happiness would be Niel Diamond and Conway Twitty in a fight to the death.

Winner then has to go up against Prince, or whatever that idiot is calling himself these days.

Guess I'd better jump in and clarify that Neil Diamond isn't all I listen to. I seem to have some weird fascination with him right now....I wonder why?

I went ADD in Best Buy, because there was so much that I wanted to buy. Here's a condensed list

    1) Blues, any & all - favs BB King, Etta James, John Lee Hooker
    2) Southern Rock - most any, Thorogood
    3) Hard rock/metal - still have ALL the Iron Maiden Cds, Motorhead, older Metallica, some new stuff
    4) set the mood - can't go wrong with Barry White, Neil, Susan Tedeschi, etc
    5) I have some odd tastes - I have every work ever made by David Bowie, I like some Big Ban/swing, some jazz, and even some country (although a few boyfriends ago ruined that for me!)

I'm only momentarily obsessed with Neil............next week, who knows?

    Dom,

Neil......not sure.....schoolgirl crush I suppose....must be the start of my mid-life crisis. Feel like I'm a star-struck 14 yr old again. Anyone have some old TigerBeat mags that I can rip the pics out of and wallpaper my cubicle with?

Susan Tedeschi - a modern blues singer. Very sultry, smoky. An obscure reference, sorry.......................

    Oh Girls!

Oh yes, that's a great song, but Annie and Dee, let me tell you a story about 10 yrs ago or so, I lent my Company car out to one of my employees to go the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI from our office in Pontiac, MI, I think it might have been a Pontiace Sunbird, and I had CDs in the car, Mozart, Country and some Hard Rock. The employee that used the car came back and said "I didn't know you had so many interests in music!" Well, my comment to you all, is that is part of our problem we are so diversivied in what we like that we confuse the 'Boys' that might like us. And my other observation is that just maybe our Daddy's let us in on lots of "boys" stuff like hunting and guns, fast cars or show cars, wiring and sweating hot water pipes at 5 yrs old, repainting the wood floors with FABULON, bondoing and painting the family driver(Buick), build a crystal radio to take to 1st grade and listen to the local radio station, reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting TVs and radios at 13, installing stereos, fixing bicycles for a few bucks here and there, and then building Buick engines, transmissions(Clutch-type) haven't rebuilt an automatic yet, but it's on the list, to do.
Home improvements like replacing sinks, hot water heaters, dryers, with little or no outside help. and the like scares the 'boyz' that can't keep up with what we can do, so it may be better to just stay single, unless the ultimate male, that can be the strong one to help with the BIG projects and the back rub/massage champion of the world comes along... We might as well do what we do...........
Just one more thing, having a BS in Engineering, is another scary part to the story, and having common sense too really makes it difficult in the Corporate world for us real live folks, male or female! Cheers :Dou: :Dou: :Comp: :spank: :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
