I am about to install the freshly rebuilt 455 engine and since all is taken apart, I am thinking it is a good idea to include the hydroboost pump. I know my engine will be around 8-12 pounds of vacuum. I have installed all around the right stuff 4 wheel disc brakes. With this said, for those of you that have done such conversion, do you have info on the hydroboost pump used, lines, pictures, anything that will assist with such conversion. I will also have my steering pump out since I am going to have it rebuilt and I will be able to tap into it for this conversion. So pictures are very helpful. I know many forums from this one and chevelle forums, they talk about using the Astro Van hydroboost pump, but doesn't say much of which year to use, or steps taken. Any info greatly appreciated.
