For those who have not seen a SUPERCHARGED Nailhead in awhile....

The new SSI supercharger we have is 44lbs of boost at 10% overdrive:3gears:

 

for timing have you looked into 6btm box and a start retard box? i agree with the 32* total and mine is the same but i got rid of the mech advance and vacuum advance and locked in my msd dist on my nailhead. i can pull 1* -3* of timing per 1lbs of boost with the 6btm box. Very nice tuning tool. i run wideband o2's for tuning with a fast box and love it. how many lbs of boost are you running? i just fired my boosted nailhead up yesterday and i am breaking the motor in with 7psi boost. i will most likely run it up to 12-15 but the motor is setup for no more than that. It looked like you are running a stock radiator. Have you had any overheating issues? i did go with a big aluminum radiator but havent had any seat time on the street yet. I myself am impressed! Its guys like you out there who are thinking outside the box and using your creative skills to better our sports. A friend of mine is very much like you and watch him do crazy things all the time. If he comes up with an idea he researches it, if he cannot find anything on it then he builds it himself and the more someone says it cannot be done the harder he tries. He has even built tooling in his garage to get small jobs done and i have pushed him to try and patent his ideas but he just laughs, grabs a beer and gets back to work.

How many pounds of boost are you running?? i notice stock cylinder head bolts.. is the motor stock with a blower??

wouldnt mind this summer tring to get some of the hopped up NAILHEADS in this wonderful Buick community together for a fun day at the dragstrip. i think everyone would love it.. i am located in mass but willing to travel!!!

if you dont mind me asking what is the closest dragstrip to you? i know a few of us with nailheads would go to conn, nj to run. too far to get you nailhead on the strip?
would be sweet if we could get a few of us.

 

they would be nice, i race at esta drags a track near syracuse. wow i could see it now a nailhead with a turbocharger and a supercharger going down the track that will pop some eyes.
