Great Dale house cars were actually pretty popular in the 50's and 60's. I have seen several Buick versions over the years, I have to say, it would be kewl to own a restored one to take to vintage RV events
1 of 54 or so built new, 13 or so remaining, how many are Buicks? This could be the next 21 window vw bus at auction...
Through sheer random search result this showed up... https://www.thevintagenews.com/2016/03/15/home-built-motorhome-made-two-1962-buick-station-wagons/
Have read several accounts of this one, interesting for sure. This article has a skeleton shot in it. https://www.thevintagenews.com/2016/03/15/home-built-motorhome-made-two-1962-buick-station-wagons/
/\/\/\Looks like someone dropped a boat on a row of Buicks. I wonder how many '62 Buick were ruined to create that trainwreck? That first one, I'd own.
The link to the article ( near the bottom part) has a quote from the Builder that there were four Biuck station wagons involved in the build.
Still for sale, now with interior pics: https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/1966-buick-great-dale/6741240539.html
