I have a 1973 Buick Lesabre Custom four door sedan for sale. It is in need of a restoration and I'd love to sell it to someone who has the will and time to fix it up. I'd hate to have it hauled to the scrap yard. It has been a daily driver for 6 years and no longer passes inspection because of rust. As far as I can tell the frame and passenger floors are good. Needs some mechanical work too. I have a complete listing with lots of pictures on Craigslist, Pittsburgh area and a giant posting of the good and bad. I can also send any picture you would like to see of it and/or answer any question you have about it. Thank you and take care!
The trunk is floor is shot, the rear quarter panels leave something to be desired, and the two front fenders need replaced. As far as I can tell the frame and passenger floors are solid.
That's too bad that no one in the area wants it. They are not going to give you anywhere near 1,500 for it at the crusher, though. Someone may give you, at least, a bit more than scrap to come and get it. Just too far, and too expensive, for me to fly out and drive it home.
The price is up there to help dissuade any demo derbiers from purchasing, it's negotiable. Of course I have to get rid of it too so one way or the other it's got to go. Unfortunately the car isn't drivable anyway, it runs and moves but had a small head gasket leak and a bearing is out in the rear end. Not sure if its a wheel or axle bearing.
