Does anyone know of a source for floor pans for a '69 riviera? If not, I was wondering if the floor pan for '62- '64 Impala would work ( being that the shape of the frame is similar.)

The only sheet metal available for our cars are patch panels for the quarter panels available via JC Whitney.

While the size and shape if the 62 - 64 Impala is way different from our Rivs, it is possible the floor pans could be used IN PART to fix your Riv.

I highly doubt if they'd be duplicates, X-frame or not. But it probably would give you enough metal to reach where you need it to.

Worth a shot. In any case, you'll need new metal to go in there. I'm sure the desert rip off artists would charge thousands of dollars for floor pans, and that being the case I'd personally try welding in the Impala pans before I'd put any money into THEIR pockets. I have never heard a single good word about those desert people.

There IS a guy with a Riviera junkyard who is with the ROA. He took over for Doug Badgerow when he suddenly died last year. He is worth a shot. Although, he might not have any rust free pans.

Yardley, are you talking about Desert Valley Auto Parts? Yes they are higher priced, but they have the goods. They've also sold nothing but good stuff to me and treated me very good. However, I'm a local and I've bought 3 cars from them so that may have something to do with it.

What about Memory Lane in california? Aren't they supposed to have a good reputation?

Im not to sure about other floor pans working, but a little work and they might do the trick. I have a 70 riv, I made new floor pans at work, which was fairly easy because Im a machinist. Maybe if you find a metal shop, they could bend you up a set.

Check out my pic site of my car, on page 1 theres 2 pics of the floor, one with a hole through the drivers side, and then another with it fixed.
