I know this question is not Buick related but here it goes. I now have a 1970 Chevelle SS which has the flasher (hazard) light pull knob broken off or missing from the non tilt post. I know this is similar to the 70 Skylark so I am wondering what's involved with the repair/replacement.

The flasher knob is screwed into the turn signal switch. So you have to determine if you just need a new knob or if the turn signal switch is damaged. Can you take a picture of it so we can see whats going on?

It looks like the threaded part is still there. Pictures do not show what I am talking about. I was hoping the knob was a screw on!

Here are a couple pics of what I think your talking about. The screwdriver is pointing to the threaded hole in the switch. Second pic shows the hazard flasher knob. Help any?

Those pictures are perfect. Thank you. Now I need to get better eyes on the switch area!
