Will post some pictures of the car outside tomorrow.
Jason, that's your first car you put a lot of heart and soul and sweat and tears to Restore it Plus the memories. I think ypu would be sorry if you sold it. My stage one is the second car I bought right out of high school the only way this car gets sold is when I pass away my wife and two daughters always kid me that they're going to put my ashes on the front seat or put me next to the dogs on the fireplace mantle. I chose the front seat of the stage one.
While going through some boxes looking for a cam card I found pictures of the engine rebuilt and body on restoration from 1984/ 1985 KB Jahn's Piston an C107 Cam Man I miss that cam.
I got lucky, 9 out of 10 had vinyl tops my car was ordered by the original owner, not a dealer order car back then vinyl tops were popular.
I still have mine the only regret I have is I mounted it on the firewall car currently has an MSD box an the stinger pick up is fire in the box it's mounted behind a battery where you can't see it an less heat and easily fixed with a couple quick welds.
MSD conversion or distributor for racing, or Protonix, mallory, or Toddgs has a one wire set up For the stock look I don't know if it'll fire and MSD box though.
Update. The original owners son was asking about my car on Facebook. I'm not on Facebook so Eric sent him a message. Thanks again Eric
Any idea what the special order was? It's always cool to talk to previous owners. I'm currently in contact with a couple and keep them updated periodically.
Trying to see if he'll give me a call I guess the special order means his father ordered it because it says sold on the Wayne Roberts report.
Like to thank Eric Martin for the help on Facebook with contacting the original owner son still haven't gotten a phone call I guess he was just looking to see if the car was still around. The beast will soon have an iron head stage 2 475 installed thanks to Nick Serwo. Will update progress.
