I'm back. Can't believe it's been two years. Hope everyone is well! So where we stand today is, the Lesabre has had air bags installed on all four corners, been converted to power brakes and disc brakes installed in the front. The rear drum brakes have been rebuilt, I guess..., and rust around the rear window has been cut out and good steel welded in. Turns out it wasn't as rust free as I was hoping, and body parts for a 65 Lesabre are not so easy to find. I'm needing to find a hood and possibly doors. It would appear that inside the doors is cancerous rust, working it's way out as we speak. So I am on the hunt for those items. My shop should be completed before winter and I'll be able to actually work on cars in the winter time, pretty excited about that! I'm definitely not even going to start thinking about engines until I'm happy with the body, the 300 will work just fine for now. Just thought I'd throw out an update and reassure you all I'm still on this project. I know it was bothering you! Take care
