First autocross of the year this weekend. Been prepping the beater in my free time pretty much since enough snow melted for me to work outside in the driveway. Last year I did pretty decent, would be top 10 sometimes. Added efi, a quick ratio box, and an Eaton truetrac diff this year. Still tuning the efi, and still running take off tires from a Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 on the rear with Equinox take offs on the front. Top two guys said everybody is pretty scared of what the pile is going to do when I get some real tires on hahaha. Had a great weekend, and as a bonus got to meet the man Bob (rmstg2) and his son Lee Saturday morning. Was an absolute pleasure, and look forward to seeing you guys at some car events after you get all settled in up here. Went quite a bit faster after you guys left, Bob! :) For us Buick guys, there was a cool '67 Skylark stock car there today.....not real fast but still a cool car! For reference, the pic of the yellow mustang is the 2nd place car. Totally gutted 400 hp straight up glass race car. Wet yesterday and dry today. All in all a great weekend

Here is a pic of the winner miata. Club president, 1400 lbs, 200 hp tube chassis race car. The thing is amazing! Just blows everybody's doors off. The 5 seconds he's ahead of me is an eternity.

    '66 Skylark with a '67 hood!
I have a rusted '66 Special in my yard that I'd love to build into a stock car look-a-like. Complete with flush mounted grille and an 'aero' treatment to the rear window!

You did great Lucas! Put some of those pony cars and even a hi-tech Charger to shame!

Lucas... Good job Sir! That truck must shock a lot of people at the track. I'm sure driving ability also comes into play!
