just curious, our recently purchased and restored 1970 gs stage 1 4 spd hardtop in fire red has the firewall painted in either a semi gloss black or gloss black and the rest of the engine bay and inner fenderwells are in flat black or semi gloss ,i.e. there not the same with the firewall being noticeably glossier, what should they be ? seems odd to me that there different but since I'm a buick noob thought i better ask here . well after reading the above thread its still not clear lol, but seems the engine bay inner fenders should be a satin black and firewall the same or less glossy . more research i guess lol
