Finally, pics of the nailhead blower manifold

    I took a few pics while I was up in OKC this weekend. It is made from 3/8 aluminum plate, and has a "popoff" type valve on it. It looks like a professional job, and has clearly seen some use. I don't know enough about blowers to say if it was a 4-71 or 6-71. It was among the Old Yeller soares that my friends and I bought. Dan

    Definitely home-made, but very neat old part for sure! I would think the pop-off valve would go to the front, and the small vacuum fitting would go to the back?

    Seems to have some serious plenum volume, may have some lag building up boost in all that volume. I can not sy what the blower size is, but seems that it would be likely a 6-71, as a 4-71 would be on the small side for a bigger nailhead.
