Jim W. and Tim Hall came down from the great white north yesterday to pick up my engine. What a couple of great guys! Dave Berry came over and we loaded up the 455,went out for some chow, and shot the breeze for several hours. What a wealth a info Jim has to offer! I certaintly had a great time and appreciate Jim's time as I know he is a busy man. He goes on less sleep than I ever could. Thanks to Jim and Tim for making the trip down. Brian :beer

    Hey Brian,

Tim and I had a good time meeting up with you and Dave, and thanks again for treating us all to dinner!

We arrived back in Mpls at 5:30 am this morning, and your motor is safely tucked into the shop, and has now come up to room temp. (she was a little cold when we got back).. I will get it apart this week, and we will go from there. Keep your fingers crossed, that there is nothing too ugly going on in it. Never know with some machine shops tho.. I've seen some pretty hairy stuff.

whew.. 1266 miles in one day.. one lonnnnng day. Thank heavens for '02 GMC Duramax trucks... never could have done that in my '85...

    Thanks,

    JW

We use a 2002 silverado 2500 duramax and it's awesome. I'm blown away by the torque.
