Are you keeping it stock or going resto-mod? I did go for the wing after lots of thought and I will probably opt for the hood tach. I kept the stock wheels, but I am leaning toward the 15x8's in the rear. What is that? Semi-resto?
Thank you DL, I too get tired of everyone's negative talk on earth tone colors Burnished saddle is a great color and orginal to this car..way to go!
Thanks for the comments. For the most part this GS is stock. Wheel, Stainless exhaust and stainless brake, fuel, and transmission lines. Should be a fun car to drive. :3gears:
Yes Dean you did, for some reason I am having trouble printing them from that Kodak site, but it's my lack of computer skill! I'll figure it out. Thanks for the pics! I really like that color!
Harold, thought I would take it one step futher for you, so I put the front seat in and took a couple pics. I was kind of anxious to see what it looked like also.
Harold, put the front seat in to see what it looked liked. That way you don't have to put pics side by side.
Wow, above and beyond the call of duty! I thank you! I think it looks fantastic, and I was able to get the photo's printed, with the help of my kid! They are on the bench next to the car for comparision, so far Brenda likes it!
Thanks again for the positive comments. I can't wait to get it done to see what the finished product will look like.
That metallic looks great, my car was the same color in the original burnished saddle. I went a different direction - atomic orange. But hats off to sticking with the original color - it really pops.
I almost went with a burnt orange with alot of matallic, but couldn't find one I like better than the burnished saddle. If you have a chance send me a pic to swat2923@msn.com or post here. Always interested in lookimg at other cars( ooppps BUICKS).
Hey Dean! Sorry to jump on an old thread but I have been researching burnished saddle. It's my Lesabres original color and I'm having trouble finding it. Any idea the manufacturer and paint code? The closest I have found is a dakota brown. Thanks -Dru
The paint code should be on your trim tag and is often seen as code 68 on the skylark/GS. Great color.
I found it! Thanks for the help. If anyone else stumbles across this and needs it tcpglobal has it. The original paint code is *68 2233.
