    Hey Guys,

A fairly new item from TPP now in stock at D C Muscle Cars. This is there FC-65 Oil Cap for Chrome Valve Covers and unlike the version that Inline Tube produces this one has the lettering embossed the correct way!

Both caps retail for around $35 and look pretty much the same other than the embossing. Inline Tube replicated the Pontiac version. (And they look just fine)
TPP replicated the Buick version and for those of you that like every detail to be correct then this is the one to go with!

    I have both in stock!

    Inline Tube Version:

TPP Version - I compared this to an original I have here and it's correct.

Specializing in 1970 - 72 but can accommodate other years as well!

There website does say they're correct for 69 also but I'll be the 1st to admit I'm not an expert on those models.

Maybe someone else will chime in!

Todd, I recall reading from Jason and others about "locking tabs" being clocked for Pontiacs, not Buicks on the Inline Tube repros which makes the Inline Tube repro cap "ears" sit incorrectly when the cap is tightened. I thought that the problem was with the Inline Tube repros in that they were modeled after the Pontiac part, and the problem is that the Pontiac valve covers accept the "locking tabs" 90 degrees off from Buicks and this means that the Inline Tube repro FC-65 caps sit 90 degrees off when mounted on the Buicks (at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions respectively) whereas the TPP repro FC-65 oil caps were said to be clocked properly for the Buicks so it locks into place (turned all the way to the right) with the cap "ears" sitting directly fore and aft (at the 9 0'clock and 3 o'olock positions, respectively). Can you confirm this?

Ken, you are correct and that is what I was trying to convey in my post.

They'll both work but the TPP version is clocked properly for our Buicks.
