minus maybe 100 due to fully ported heads that can barely support a 322ci nail.

but torque would/ will be insane

my first of 2 GN turbos should be getting here in the next couple weeks:Brow:

How about a 27 roadster with a 440 (425 bored) running on the Salt (Bonneville) in the 196 : 200 MPH range. May not be the fastest in captivity but sure is a sweet number.

yea but if you force air into something that flows better it's a lot easier to pick up hp with less risk of blowing it up. with a better flowing head you can achieve higher hp at lower boost level than a poor flowing head.

i have 64 buick electra 4 door. im going to need some POWA!! it will be one hell of a sleeper.

    When I was a kid I built a 41 Ford coupe powered by a 322 Buick. Had a McCulloch supercharger. http://www.vs57.com/

Was very good at busting transmissions:)

of course.. if you're looking for max power, you'd throw out the buick "anchor" and go with a blown hemi...

I was just stating that you can get over some of the shortcomings of the nailhead by adding BOOST:TU:

true but i'm looking for some nice reliability/driveability as well. the more stuff you have to put on the more those 2 go down. i want 800whp on pump is that too much to ask? :)

it may be for a nailhead... the heads are THAT bad.. a BBB or SBB could do it with the right parts

shoot the small block buick would be my choice.. stronger block than the BBB, lighter than both the nail and BBB, stock fully ported heads could support it, it'd just involve ALL custom internals and some boost.. Bill Mah made 950 hp/ 731 trq with a F1 centrifugal supercharger on PUMP GAS and 1021 hp 808 trq. on race gas.

run low or no boost most of the time on the street, and turn up the wick (or boost controller) when the time comes..

If we ever had new heads for the nailhead, it would be a different story..

I'm still gunna try to find what I can get out of a twin turboed nail:Brow: :3gears:
